LONG BEACH, CA - Midsummer Scream is the world's largest Halloween and horror convention, bringing all the thrills of October to one summer weekend.

  • Haunted houses? Midsummer Scream has over a dozen in the dark zone, The Hall of Shadows.
  • Horror movies? Visit the HorrorBuzz Screaming Room, where an exclusive selection of horror shorts will play all weekend long.

  • Dark entertainment? Midsummer has several live performances all weekend long, from Zombie Joe's Urban Death to immersive theater activation to horror fashion shows and more.
  • Black cats? Yep. You're covered there as well as our Black Cat Lounge, where you can adopt kittens who'll be running a muck all weekend long.
  • Elvira, Mistress of the Dark? Of course. Cassandra Peterson will there all weekend, signing autographs, taking photos with fans, and on stage with a presentation celebrating the 30th anniversary of her big screen debut.
  • A Halloween party? Not just any party - at Midsummer Scream After Dark, on Saturday, July 28, we'll have a $500 costume contest, naughty magic show, horror trivia, and a special screening of Child's Play with writer/director Tom Holland giving live commentary.
Horror Made Here at Warner Bros. Studio

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is going to Midsummer Scream in a big way, bringing along a display of props and set pieces from their library of iconic films, and a presentation about their rapidly growing Halloween event.

All weekend in the Hall of Shadows: visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood Horror Exhibit, a showcase of props and set pieces from horror films in the Warner Bros. collection, including elements from The Conjuring universe and IT.

"Buzzfeed Unsolved" presentation with Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej, showing an episode of their show followed by a Q&A and a chance to meet with their fans.

"The Winchester Mystery House" has some extra special plans in store for their 2018 Halloween season, and will reveal them exclusively at Midsummer Scream first!
